SAMYANG AF 85MM F/1.4 CANON RF (new)

This new lens delivers beautiful bokeh, outstanding image quality and reliable autofocusing. Along with the recently launched AF 14mm F2.8 RF, the new Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 RF opens a new door of options to Canon EOS R camera users. The 85mm focal length is the most versatile focal length for portrait photography and it allows the photographer to create stunning portraits with great details.

Impressive optics

The AF 85mm F1.4 RF has a total of 11 elements in 8 groups, with 4 high-refractive (HR) optics and an extra low-dispersion (ED) lens, which are designed to create impressive image quality from corner to corner. This great optic construction together with 9 aperture blades provide a natural, circular bokeh with a fantastic out-of-focus effect. It creates a shallow depth of focus that smoothly blurs the background and highlights the story of the subject.

The 85mm focal length, combined with the wide maximum aperture of F1.4, enables photographers to achieve a dramatically shallow depth-of-field. A must for every wedding and portrait photographer this summer!

Besides a great optic construction Samyang has also equipped the lens with a DLSM (Dual Linear Sonic Motor) focus motor, providing a silent and effective autofocus performance. This makes the lens great for both photographers and videographers. Weather sealing protects the lens from dust, light rain and snow and makes it possible to capture stunning images in less than perfect conditions.
